Katherine Reutter Sweeps the US Senior Short Track Championship |

Champaign's Katherine Reutter is the United States Ladies National Champion.
Katherine Reutter skated a phenomenal set at the U. S. Senior Short Track Championships on December 21st through 23rd at the Olympic oval in Utah where she earned the title of U. S. Ladies National Champion during this her Junior and first year as a National Team Member.
Katherine raced to first place finishes in all her events with times of 1:31.63 in the 1000m and 5:21.18 in the 3000m. By sweeping the competiton, she finished with an amazing overall total point score of 4590. Allison Baver placed second with 2445 points.
This secures Katherine's position on the team for this year's World Cup. Katherine and Allison will be joined on this year’s World Cup Team by Kimberly Derrick, Lana Gehring, and Carly Wilson.
Champaign Regional Speedskating congratulates Katherine and wishes her a very successful reign as US Ladies National Champion.
