Camp Dates: ‪November 25 - November 27

500 South 84th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53051

FORMAT: Open to Learn to Speed Skate students and developing speed skaters (ages 7+) who race on the 85m track or skate a 500m in more than 1:00. Participants will be separated into groups based on age and ability.

Skaters ages 7-11: Camp will be a half day on Friday (11/25), Saturday (11/26), and Sunday (11/27). They will enjoy one dryland and one ice session per day plus team building activities/games, and racing on Sunday (11/27).

Skaters 12+ will have one dryland session, one ice session, and one breakout session on Friday (11/25), two dryland and two ice sessions on Saturday (11/26), in addition to separate breakout sessions based on age groups, and racing on Sunday (11/27).

Afternoon Check-in & Welcome [1:00pm - 1:30pm]
Friday Camp Day Ends for Skaters Ages 7-11 [4:45pm]
Friday Camp Day Ends for Skaters 12+ [5:45pm]

Saturday Schedule
Morning Check-in [9:00am - 9:15am]
WSA Sponsored Lunch [12:15pm-1:45pm]
Saturday Camp Day Ends for skaters ages 7-11 [1:45pm]
Saturday Camp Day Ends for skaters ages 12+ [5:45pm]

Sunday Schedule
Morning Check-in [9:30am-9:45am]
Off-ice Race Warm-up [9:45am - 10:15am]
On-ice Race Warm-up & Prep [10:30am - 10:55am]
Classy Gobbler Glide Races on the Long Track Ova [11am-12:30pm]
Awards/Close: 12:45pm - 1pm

PARENT CLINICS: If you're new to speed skating, let us help you navigate these early stages of the sport! Join us at one of our parent seminars on Saturday, November 26th while your camper(s) are on the ice. We'll cover topics like what it means to become a member of US Speedskating, where to get equipment, how to sharpen speed skates and what to expect on race day.

LUNCH: Lunch will be provided on Saturday by the Wisconsin Speed Skating Association. If the registration form is not received by the deadline below, there is no guarantee that lunch will be available for that skater.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: Helmet, gloves, neck protector, shin guards, knee pads, full length sleeves & pants.

ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT & APPAREL: Water bottles, athletic gym shoes, light weight jacket or warm-up sweater to stay warm inside the arena.

REGISTRATION PROCESS
FEE Per Skater (ages 12+): $100
FEE Per Skater (ages 7-11): $60
Family Cap: $250 (if three or more skaters ages 12+ within a single family)

REGISTRATION CAP: 45 skaters
